Summary

Silver at the ppm level in a few mg of high-purity lead is separated by selective adsorption of the silver on suspended dithizone particles (ca. 5μm particle size) from acidic sample solutions and determined by graphite-furnace atomic-absorption spectrophotometry. Analytical results with satisfactory precision are obtained rapidly by using a simple decomposition/separation vessel and ultrasonics to facilitate the separation on a microscale.

Zusammenfassung

Ppm-Mengen Silber werden durch selektive Adsorption an suspendierte Dithizonpartikel (ca. 5μm ø) aus sauren Lösungen weniger Milligramm hochgereinigten Bleis abgetrennt und im Graphitrohr durch Atomarabsorptionsspektrophotometrie bestimmt. Die Resultate sind hinreichend genau bei Verwendung eines einfachen Zersetzungs- und Trennungsgefäßes sowie Anwendung von Ultraschall zur Förderung der Trennung im Mikromaßstab.
