Communication 44, polyesters of certain aromatic dicarboxylic acids

Summary

  1. 1.

    Polyesters have been prepared by the condensation of ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol with aromatic dicarboxylic acids.

  2. 2.

    The question of the effect of the structure of the polymer chain on the physical properties of the polymer has been examines.

  3. 3.

    It has been shown that generally held views concerning three-dimensional polymers require modification.

  4. 4.

    The properties of the polyesters obtained have been demonstrated.
