Abstract
A set of quasi-Continuous-Wave (CW) diode lasers has been used to pump Nd:KGW and to generate 1.35µm laser radiation at room temperature. The optical-to-optical and slope efficiencies have been measured and compared with those of Nd:YAG at identical experimental conditions.
