Abstract

Alkaline borohydride reductive cleavage of hen ovomucin resulted in the release of a series of neutral and acidic oligosaccharide-alditols.1H-NMR spectroscopy in combination with fast ion bombardment-mass spectrometry in negative ion mode were used for investigation of the structures of three oligosaccharide-alditols.
