Summary
A locally isolated oleaginous strain ofRhodotorula glutinis strain IIP-30 produced a growth associated extracellular emulsifying agent while utilizing glucose during fed batch fermentation under nitrogen limitation at 30°C and pH 4. 0. Similar optimum conditions were also noted for intracellular lipid accumulation.
