Die partielle ausschneidung von iris und ciliarkörper ein rückblick

Zusammenfassung

In einem kritischen Überblick wird unterstrichen, daß die malignen Irismelanome in 4,1 % der Fälle trotz der operativen Behandlung mit Iridektomie und Enukleation durch Metastasen zum Tode führen. Sie haben einen ausgesprochen infiltrativen Charakter und sind in 50% der Fälle im Moment der Operation schon in die Nachbarschaft eingedrungen.

Bei den malignen Melanomen des Ciliarkörpers scheint die Neigung zur Metastasenbildung und zum Wachstum in die benachbarten Gewebe noch stärker ausgeprägt.

Die gegenwärtige Unsicherheit der Urteilsbildung macht die Einhaltung gewisser Regeln, die genau aufgezählt werden, empfehlenswert.

Résumé

Dans une revue critique il est souligné que 4,1 % des malades atteints de mélanome malin de l'iris meurent par métastase malgré le traitement chirurgical consistant en une iridectomie ou une énucléation. Le caractère infiltrant de ces tumeurs est tel qu'au moment de l'intervention la pénétration dans les tissus voisins a déjà eu lieu dans 50 % des cas.

Les mélanomes malins du corps ciliaire semblent avoir une tendance encore plus grande à la formation de métastases et à l'infiltration dans le voisinage.

A l'heure qu'il est, notre jugement sur ces néoplasmes manque encore de précision. Aussi est-il recommandé d'observer certaines règles qui sont énumérées.

Summary

In a critical review it is emphasized that 4,1 % of the malignant melanomas of the iris develop metastases and the patients die despite a surgical treatment consisting in iridectomy or enucleation. In 50 % of the cases the neighbouring tissues are already infiltrated, when the operation is performed.

The malignant melanomas of the ciliary body have an even greater tendency to metastase formation and to infiltrative penetration into the vicinity.

At the time being our opinion about these tumors is not yet definitely fixed up. For this reason some special rules which are stressed, should be followed.
