Chemiluminescence during the reaction of N-arenesulfonylbenzoquinone imines with N-arylaminocrotonates

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The formation of substituted indoles when N-arenesulfonylbenzoquinone imines are reacted with N-arylaminocrotonates is accompanied by chemiluminescence. Chemiluminescence was not observed during the nucleophilic addition of N-alkylaminocrotonates to N-arenesulfonylbenzoquinone imines.

  2. 2.

    The kinetic characteristics of the process studied were determined.
