Abstract
Polycrystalline homogenized specimens of the alloy Cu2.00Mn1.00Al1.00 were annealed at temperatures of 360° C, 460° C and 560° C, quenched in water and investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetometry. It was indicated that the process of the decomposition of theβ-phase of the system Cu-Mn-Al is different at each of the above temperatures. The investigations showed the occurrence of the additional precipitation in the partially decomposed alloy when it was annealed at 200° C.
