Critical current pulling and differential resistance of two coupled superconducting weak links

Abstract

The differential resistance of two indium microbridges connected in series is investigated and the observed variations are interpreted in terms of various interaction effects between the superconducting weak links. The locking of critical currents and the sharpening of the resistive transition observed in an earlier experiment are now explained on the basis of an ac quasiparticle effect.
