Astrophysics and Space Science Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

A procedure for the numerical evaluation of Dawson's integral is described. The main difference between the method proposed here and others already published lies in the fact that no asymptotic or polynomial expansions of the function are used. With this procedure at least 10 significant figures are obtained.
