Abstract
Multi-colourWBVR photoelectric observations of the eclipsing binary HP Aur were carried out. The photometric elements, the absolute parameters and the apsidal motion angular rate of HP Aur based on the comparison of our observations and the observations Meinunger (1980) obtained were presented. The derived value of\(\dot w_{{\text{obs}}} \) is almost three times smaller than that predicted theoretically.
