Possible low ionosphere response to very hard X-rays from Cygnus X-3 bursts in september 1972

Abstract

Coincidence of VLF propagation anomalies in the low terrestrial ionosphere with the flaring period of Cyg X-3 tentatively suggest that this source has shown an output in very hard X-rays. difficulties in interpretation are discussed.
