Summary
Single-unit studies on preoptic and anterior hypothalamic neurons in the capsaicindesensitized rat having deficient thermoregulation against heat showed that the proportion of warm-sensitive and cold-sensitive neurons in a total population of neurons recorded was reduced to about half of the normal.
