Abstract
The structure of a dimeric lactone of a new type fromArtemesia leucodes, artelein, has been established unambiguously on the basis of an analysis of the results of IR, high-resolution mass, PMR, and13C NMR spectroscopy of the substance itself and an x-ray structural investigation of its acetyl derivative.
