Zusammenfassung

Es wird gezeigt, daß bei der massenspektrometrischen Strukturanalyse fester Naturstoffe die Feldionisationsmethode in Ergänzung zur Elektronenstoßmethode angewandt werden kann. Durch letztere werden detailliertere Strukturinformationen gewonnen, während durch Feldionisation Molekulargewichtsbestimmungen an solchen Verbindungen vorgenommen werden können, die im Elektronenstoß-Massenspektrum keine Molekülionenlinien aufweisen.

Summary

It is shown that for mass spectrometric structure analysis of solid natural products the field ionization method can be applied in addition to the electron-impact method. More detailed structural informations are obtained by the latter method, whereas molecular weight determinations of those substances can be made by the field ionization method, which do not show parent ion peaks in the electron-impact mass spectrum.
