Experimentelle histologische und autoradiographische Untersuchungen zur Organisation subduraler Blutungen

Summary

The organization of experimental subdural hematoma was studied histologically and autoradiographically (³H-thymidine) in 200-g Wistar rats within 12 to 264 h of puncture of the sinus sagittalis superior. Typical neomembranes were produced within the first 60 h by fibroblasts proliferating from the inner layer of the dura mater. Subsequently absorption of the hematomas occurred through differentiation of phagocytotic histiocytes. The results indicate that the subdural neomembranes are no specific histological feature of the so-called pachymeningeosis haemorrhagica interna, a concept which therefore is rejected. Instead, the results support the view that the pachymeningeosis haemorrhagica interna represents a subdural hematoma.

Zusammenfassung

Durch Anstich des oberen Längsblutleiters wurde bei der Ratte ein subdurales Hämatom erzeugt und der Ablauf der Organisationsvorgänge histologisch und autoradiographisch (³H-Thymidin) über einen Zeitraum von 12–264 Std verfolgt. Durch rasche Proliferation der Duradeckzellen mit Faserbildung entstehen innerhalb der ersten 60 Std typische Neomembranen. Neben der Membranbildung kommt es zu Differenzierung phagocytierender Histiocyten und zur Resorption der Blutungen. Die experimentell gewonnenen Befunde zeigen, daß der histologische Nachweis von Neomembranen kein histologisches Kriterium einer idiopathischen Pachymeningeosis haemorrhagica interna darstellt. Sie stützen die Ansicht, daß die sog. Pachymeningeosis haemorrhagica interna ein chronisches Subduralhämatom ist und beide Begriffe einander gleichgesetzt werden müssen.
