Summary
Paracrystalline, probably proteinaceous inclusions have been found in the podocytes of renal biopsy tissue from a 44 year old woman suffering from γ-G-paraproteinemia The histology and fine structure of the podocytes are described. The crystals are enclosed within vesiculae of the endoplasmic reticulum and show a longitudinal ultrastructural periodicity.
