Zusammenfassung

Als Ursache des Krebses kann man sich sehr wohl eine spezifisch schädigende Einwirkung auf das Genom einer Zelle vorstellen, wobei ein falscher genetischer Code erzeugt würde. Die besonderen Eigenschaften von Krebszellen bestehen in einem Verlust der Kontaktinhibition, Herabsetzung des Zusammenhaltes, abnormen Zellproteinen und kennzeichnendem Stoffwechsel, der in Gärung bei Anwesenheit von O2 besteht. Manche Carcinone sind hormonabhängig; in ihnen sind die unterstützenden Hormone von größter Wichtigkeit für die Erhaltung des Lebens der Zellen, da bei ihrer Abwesenheit die Zelle stirbt. Dagegen sind Hormone niemals von so ausschlaggebender Bedeutung für das Leben der hormonabhängigen Normalzelle. Hormonabhängige maligne Tumoren können mit der Zeit unabhängig werden; der Grad ihrer Malignität ist dabei gesteigert.
