Über das Mycobacterium tuberculosis im Gewebe der Tuberculosis cutis luposa

Summary

The tissue of Lupus vulgaris without caseation necrosis contains plenty of tubercle bacilli, which have not been demonstrable as yet for want of a suitable method.

The tubercle bacilli belong to the morphologically conceivable constituents of the tuberculous granuloma, and their morphologic and tinctorial qualities are different from those in the bacteriological culture.

This is demonstrated by a new method by means of a selected material of the Lupus vulgaris tissue without caseation necrosis (not ulcerative) taken asepticly intra vitam, which originates from seven Lupus vulgaris-patients.

Zusammenfassung

Das nicht verkäste tuberkulöse Hautgewebe der Tbc. cutis luposa enthält reichlich Tuberkelbacillen, die bislang mangels einer geeigneten Methode dem Nachweis entgingen.

Die Tuberkelbacillen gehören zu den morphologisch faßbaren Bestandteilen des tuberkulösen Granuloms und verhalten sich hier morphologisch wie tinktoriell wesentlich anders als in der Kultur. Anhand eines ausgesuchten, intra vitam aseptisch entnommenen, weder ulzeierten noch verkästen tuberkulösen Gewebsmaterials, das von sieben Kranken stammt, wird dies mit Hilfe einer neuen Methode demonstriert.
