Abstract

Development and cytology of the telial head in Ravenelia sessilis Berkeley, R. taslimii Mundkurs and R. ornata Sydow are traced in the ontogenic sequence. The species parasitic on leguminous hosts show some variations among themselves in the development of the telial heads and from those parasitizing euphorbiaceous hosts.
