Summary
The enzyme acetylcholine-esterase is immobilised in a matrix of bovine albumine by crosslinking with glutaraldehyde directly at the surface area of a pH electrode. A reversible inhibition by methyl carbamate insecticides is detectable from 0.1 mg/l (Aldicarb), a irreversible inhibition is detectable by phosphoric acid ester insecticides from 50 Μg/l (Dichlorvos). After oxidation by bromine water also phosphoric acid thioester insecticides (Parathionethyl) are detectable from 2.5 Μg/1. A reactivation of the enzyme electrode by means of pyridine-2-aldoximemethyliodide as well as an analysis scheme for differentiated detection of the three insecticide groups in water and on fruits and vegetables are demonstrated.
