Summary
A study of the migration sequences of As, Sb and Sn ions, their separation from each other and from other ions such as Ag, Pb, Hg, Cu, Bi, Cd, Zn, Co and Ni in presence of various electrolytes of different strengths have been made. Successful electrophoretic separation of the mixtures of the type As-Sb-Sn, As-Sb-Ag, As-Hg-Bi, Sb-Ag-Pb, As-Sb-Bi, As-Hg-Pb, As-Sb-Co and As-Bi-Cd have also been achieved. Tin metal salt forms a number of distinct bands when electrophorised.
