Abstract

Only one out of 19 soil sampling sites chosen for isolation of H. capsulation studies yielded positive results. The stations were located in Cueva Oscura, which is part of the Aguas Buenas Caves system. The habitat characteristics of these station are believed to be responsible for the presence of the fungus.
