Partielle Trisomie C9 bei balancierter B4/C9-Translokation bei der Mutter

Partial trisonomy C9 in a case of balanced maternal B4/C9 translocation

Abstract

In a female infant with multiple malformations the chromosomal analysis revealed a supernumerary chromosome resembling in form and structure chromosome E16 (2n=47,XX, t(C9 q−)+). The mother of the patient showed a balanced translocation B4/C9 (2n=46,XX, t(B4p+; C9 q−).

Zusammenfassung

Bei einem weiblichen Säugling mit multiplen Mißbildungen ergab die Chromosomenanalyse ein überzähliges Chromosom, das in Größe und Struktur etwa einem E16 entsprach (2n=47,XX, t(C9 q−)+). Die Mutter der Probandin wies eine balancierte Translokation B4/C9 auf: 2n=46,XX, t(B4p+; C9 q−).
