Abstract

The polarographic behaviour of the ligands of some chelates of 1,5-diphenylcarbazone has been investigated. The half-wave potential is a linear function of the pKD-value. The slope on the other hand is a function of the pH-value. Exceptions of this rule may be due to different complex structures.

Zusammenfassung

Mehrere Chelate des 1,5-Diphenylcarbazons wurden auf das polarographische Verhalten des Liganden hin untersucht. Man erhielt eine lineare Abhängigkeit des Halbstufenpotentials vom negativen Logarithmus der Dissoziationskonstanten (pKD). Das Maß der Abhängigkeit ist selbst wiederum eine Funktion des pH-Wertes. Ausnahmen im polarographischen Verhalten deuten auf unterschiedliche Komplexstrukturen hin.
