Summary
The different types of surface fine structures of the teleuto-and uredospores of rust fungi, i.e. warts, caves, ridges and spines, have been studied with the aid of 13 representative species in the scanning electron microscope (SEM). In several cases new fine structures were observed, in others the knowledge of structural features was improved by the more intelligible and plastic images obtained by the SEM.
Zusammenfassung
In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden die verschiedenen Strukturtypen (Warzen, Gruben, Leisten, Stacheln) der Teleuto-und Uredosporenoberflächen von 13 Rostarten im Raster-Elektronenmikroskop untersucht. Eine Reihe von bisher unbekannten Feinstrukturen wird beschrieben und an Hand der einschlägigen Literatur besprochen.
