Zusammenfassung
Kindliche Femurschaftbrüche werden mit Vorteil konservativ behandelt. Torsionsfehler sind mit dem hergebrachten Extensionsverfahren nicht zu vermeiden, korrigieren sich spontan nicht und sind deshalb prognostisch von ganz besonderer Bedeutung. Das eigene Extensionsverfahren gestattet in einfacher Art und Weise, kindliche Femurschaftfrakturen in allen drei Ebenen des Raumes achsengerecht zur Ausheilung zu bringen.
