Über metachromatische Leukodystrophie

II. Relation zwischen Erkrankungsalter und Verlaufsdauer

Zusammenfassung

Es wurden 65 Fälle von gesicherter metachromatischer Leukodystrophie aus der Weltliteratur zusammengestellt. Erkrankungsalter und Verlaufsdauer wurden zueinander in Beziehung gesetzt und graphisch dargestellt. Längere Krankheitsverläufe von vier und mehr Jahren finden sich vorwiegend im Lebensalter zwischen 10 und 40. Die frühkindlichen Fälle haben dagegen eine kurze Krankheitsdauer von 1/2–4 Jahren.
