Summary

In a 74-yeas-old man a slowly enlarging but otherwise asymptomatic mass at the angle of the mandible was enucleated easily. The histological examination revealed a sebaceous lymphadenoma, a rare benign parotid neoplasm (sixth instance in the literature). Clinical problems, gross and histological features, and histogenesis are discussed. Local excision is the treatment of choice. Analogically to the adenolymphoma this tumor arises from epithelial inclusions within intraparotid lymph nodes, differentiated as sebaceous glands.
