Summary
A case of cholesterol embolism to the central nervous system is reported. As carotid arteriography was performed shortly before death, the embolism may be attributed to atheromatous material probably detached by the procedure.

Es wird über eine Cholesterinembolie in das Zentralnervensystem berichtet. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, daß das Material durch eine kurz vor dem Tode durchgeführte Carotisangiographie losgelöst worden ist.
