Zusammenfassung
In den Spinalganglien der Ratte läßt sich nach Durchschneidung des N. ischiadicus eine Zunahme der Bernsteinsäuredehydrogenase-Aktivität zeigen. Sie ist nach 10–15 Tagen an den großen, nach 4 Tagen an den kleinen Zellen voll ausgeprägt, hält etwa bis zur 4. Woche nach der Durchtrennung an und nimmt dann sehr langsam ab. Ein Teil der großen Spinalganglienzellen behält die Aktivitätssteigerung jedoch über Monate bei. Bei den erhaltenen kleinen Zellen — sie gehen in großer Zahl zugrunde — ist die spätere Abnahme allgemein vorhanden. Der Aktivitätszunahme der Bernsteinsäuredehydrogenase ist eine Wanderung der Mitochondrien zum Kern hin beigeordnet. Aus dem Verhalten der Bernsteinsäuredehydrogenase-Aktivität muß auf eine vorübergehende Steigerung des oxydativen Stoffwechsels der Spinalganglienzellen bei der primären Reizung nach Axondurchtrennung geschlossen werden.
