Summary

Fifteen cervical myelographies were carried out with the nonionic watersoluble contrast medium metrizamide. The medium was injected by a lateral puncture between the laminae of the first and second cervical vertebrae. The quality of the radiographs was good. Minor, insignificant side effects were observed in a few patients, but neither the puncture nor the contrast medium caused any serious complications.

Résumé

Quinze myélographies cervicales ont été réalisées à l'aide de métrizamide, produit de contraste hydrosoluble non-ionique. Le produit fut injecté par ponction latérale entre les lames de la première et de la deuxième vertèbre cervicale. La qualité des radiographi était bonne. Des effects secondaires mineurs, non significatifs furent observés chez quelques malades mais ni la ponction ni le produit de contraste ne furent à l'origine de complications sérieuses.

Zusammenfassung

15 zervikale Myelographien wurden mit dem wasserlöslichen Kontrastmittel Metrizamide (Amipaque “Nyco”) durchgeführt. Dabei wurde das Kontrastmittel durch laterale Punktion des Zervikalkanals injiziert. Die gute Qualität des Röntgen-Kontrastes wird hervorgehoben. Bei einigen Patienten wurden geringe nebenwirkungen beobachtet. Keine ernsthaften Komplikationen.
