Zusammenfassung
An gefriergetrockneten Froschnerven wurden die Struktur und die Barrierenfunktion des Perineurium untersucht.

Das Perilemma bzw. Neurothel bzw. Stratum internum ist mit den perineuralen Lamellen identisch.

II.
Auch das Perineurium des Froschnerven besitzt lamelläre Struktur. Die Anzahl der Lamellen beträgt beim Nervus ischiadicus 8–10.

III.
Die Diffusionsbarriere liegt in den perineuralen Lamellen.

IV.
Der Barriereneffekt läßt sich entsprechend den verwendeten Substanzen differenzieren in absolut positiv, d. h., die Substanz dringt in keinem Fall in das Nerveninnere ein, in relativ positiv, d. h., die Substanz dringt nur mit Verzögerung ein, und in negativ, d.h., die Substanz dringt ohne merkbare Verzögerung ein.

Der Barriereneffekt zeigt Abhängigkeiten vom Molekulargewicht der Diffusionsstoffe, von ihrer Konzentration, ihrem Lösungsmittel, ihrer Einwirkungsdauer.

Der Barriereneffekt ist auch an gefriergetrockneten Nerven nachzuweisen, d. h., die Diffusionsbarriere ist, wenigstens im höhermolekularen Bereich, unabhängig von lebenden Zellstrukturen bzw. -funktionen.

VII.
Die Barriere stellt einen geeigneten Diffusionsschutz des endoneuralen Milieus dar.
Alle experimentellen Befunde sind grundsätzlich nur von der Versuchsanordnung her verständlich, und es liegt in der Natur des Experiments, daß es nicht zu klären vermag, inwieweit die Ergebnisse nur das Korellat der jeweiligen Versuchsbedingungen sind.
