Zusammenfassung
Die parafollikulären Zellen der Rattenschilddrüse bilden gemeinsam mit den gewöhnlichen Epithelzellen einen Bestandteil der Wand einiger Follikel. Sie zeigen zum Lumen hin einen gut entwickelten Golgi-Apparat und gegen die Basalmembran zahlreiche Vesikel (Granula). Im Cytoplasma beobachtet man außer dem granulierten endoplasmatischen Retikulum Mitochondrion, Centriolen, Lysosomen und Filamentbündel; entlang dem Plasmalemm liegen Desmosomen. Der Kern hat einen eigenartigen Nukleolus. Wir halten diese Zellen für lebhaft sezernierende Elemente.
