Spinal cavernous haemangioma (intradural-extramedullary) underlying repeated subarachnoid haemorrhage

Summary

Within a period of 13 months a 24-year-old male student experienced four attacks of subarachnoid haemorrhage. An intradural-extramedullary haemangioma at the level of the second thoracic segment was found to be the cause of the repeated bleeding.

Zusammenfassung

Innerhalb von 13 Monaten traten bei einem 24 Jahre alten Studenten vier Attacken von Subarachnoidalblutung auf. Ein juxtamedulläres kavernöses Hämangiom bei Th2 war die Ursache der rezidivierenden spinalen Subarachnoidalblutung.
