Uptake of l-Dopa by cells in the taste buds of the vallate papilla of the mouse

Summary

Several precursor substances and biogenic amines were admistered intraperitoneally to mice and were examined by the histochemical formaldehyde induced fluorescence method. It was found that after treatment with l-Dopa a number of cells inside the taste buds showed fluorescence.
