The equilibrium and non-equilibrium elastic behavior of cross-linked polymer networks

Summary

The tube model of rubber elasticity (GAYLORD 1979, MARRUCCI 1981, GAYLORD 1982) is developed in detail and is shown to be able to describe both the equilibrium stress-strain, shear modulus and swelling behavior and the non-equilibrium elastic behavior of cross-linked polymer networks.
