VI. An assay method for ape and monkey plasma proteins using antihuman antisera

Summary

A quantitative assay for the estimation of several plasma proteins from subhuman primates by use of antihuman antisera is described. Both the Oudin and the Mancini method are suited for this purpose. Advantages and limitations of this new approach are shortly discussed. Several calibration curves are supplied.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine quantitative Bestimmungsmethode für einige Plasma-proteine von subhumanen Primaten beschrieben, bei welcher Antiseren gegen die jeweiligen menschlichen Homologen verwandt werden. Sowohl die Oudin- wie die Mancini-Technik sind anwendbar. Vorteile und Grenzen der neuen Methodik werden kurz besprochen. Einige Eichkurven werden als Beispiel angegeben.
