Summary

A reciprocal translocation t(5;Y) (p15.3;q11) is detected in an azoospermic male. The meiotic chromosomes, after Q.M. staining, indicate that the two parts of the Y join together, at the pachytene stage, in the sex vesicule, but not at the diakinesis.
