Zusammenfassung
1. Mit der Versuchsanordnung von Kagawa wurde die Einwirkung von Cortexon und k-Strophanthosid auf die renale Elektrolytausscheidung adrenalektomierter und intakter Ratten untersucht.
2. Am adrenalektomierten Tier bewirkt k-Strophanthosid eine signifikante Mehrausscheidung von Natrium bei erniedrigter Natriumkonzentration im Plasma und eine ausgeprägte Hyperkaliurie bei stark erhöhtem Kaliumgehalt des Plasmas.
3. Durch Kombination von k-Strophanthosid mit Cortexon wird die durch das Herzglykosid allein hervorgerufene Natriummehrausscheidung beim adrenalektomierten Tier vollständig unterdrückt.
4. Am nicht adrenalektomierten Tier verursacht k-Strophanthosid eine mit steigender Dosis zunehmende Natriumretention, während die Kaliumausscheidung wie beim nebennierenlosen Tier beträchtlich erhöht ist.
5. Cortexon führt beim Normaltier zu einer vermehrten Natriumausscheidung.
6. Die Ergebnisse werden bezüglich Wirkungsmechanismus diskutiert. Es wird versucht, die Befunde mit der Hypothese zu erklären, daß die Digitaliswirkung auf einer kompetitiven Verdrängung eines Corticosteroidchelats als Ionenträger in der Membran beruhen könnte.
