Abstract
Ascariasis is one of the most common helminthic diseases worldwide [1]. The presence of this worm in the biliary tree causes biliary colic, recurrent pyogenic cholangitis, pancreatitis, hepatic abscesses, and septicemia [2]. The diagnosis of biliary ascariasis is usually made by ultrasound (US). We report the computerized-tomography (CT) aspects that allowed the identification of ascaris in the biliary tract in two patients.
