Incomplete rupture of the tendon of triceps brachii

Summary

A 36 year old woman with a history of chronic renal failure secondary to acute glomerulonephritis sustained an injury to the tendon of the triceps brachii in her right arm. Magnetic resonance imaging showed an incomplete rupture of the tendon. The injury was successfully treated conservatively.

Résumé

Une femme de 36 ans, avec une histoire d'insuffisance rénale consécutive à une glomérulonéphrite, a présenté une rupture du tendon du muscle triceps brachial droit. L'examen IRM a révelé une rupture partielle du tendon dont un traitement conservateur a été réalisé avec succès.
