Über einen Transplantationsversuch der Linse vom Leichenauge

Zusammenfassung

Bei einem 32 jährigen Kranken, welcher nach einer Bomben-Explosion am rechten Auge an einem totalen Hornhautleukom und links an einer Cataracta complicata litt, bestand rechts eine regelrechte Lichtprojektion. Das linke Auge war blind.

Am linken Auge wurde Cataracta extrahiert und eine Linse transplantiert, welche einem Leichenauge entnommen war.

Es wurde bei der Ausführung der Linsen-Transplantation ein operativer Hornhaut-Bindehaut Schnitt durch zwei Drittel der Hornhaut ausgeführt. 5 Nähte wurden durch die Hornhaut durchgezogen. Der postoperative Verlauf war gänzlich normal und die transplantierte Linse zeigte noch nach 6 Monaten keine Trübungen.

Il s'agit d'un homme de 32 ans, souffrant des consequences d'une blessure par l'explosion d'une bombe. A l'oeil droit il y avait un leucome adherent total, tandis que à l'oeil gauche il y avait une cataracte compliquée. La projection de lumière dans l'oeil droit était normale, tandis qu'il avait l'amaurose dans l'oeil gauche.

Après l'extraction de la cataracte de l'oeil gauche, une lentille d'un défunt était implantée. Pour cette opération nous avons fait une incision dans la cornée d'une longeur de trois quarts de sa circonférence. Cinq sutures ont été tirées à travers la conjonctive. Du point de vue de l'opération la transplantation de la lentille du défunt a été un succès complet.

Il n'y avait pas d'irritation de l'oeil opéré et la pression intraoculaire était toujours normale. Trois mois après l'opération la lentille transplantée était tout à fait transparente et ne montrait aucune opacité bio-microscopique. Chez le même malade on a fait une keratoplastique perforative partielle à l'oeil droit.

Le malade a été reexaminé six mois après l'opération et la lentille transplantée sur l'oeil gauche ne montrait aucune opacité et était complètement transparante.

In un ammalato di 32 anni che dopo l'esplosione di una bomba soffri all'occhio destro d'un totale leucoma nella cornea ed all'occhio sinistro d'una “cateratta complicata” si constatò all'occhio destro una vera proiezione di luce. L'occhio sinistro rimase cieco.

La cataratta fù estratta dall'occhio sinistro e vi fù traspiantata una lente presa dall'occhio d'un morto.

Nella operazione del trapianto della lente fù fatto un taglio nella cornea-congiuntiva per due terzi della cornea, e furono dati 5 punti alla congiuntiva.

Il decorso post-operatorio fù totalmente normale e dopo sei mesi la lente trapiantata non mostrò nessuna opacità.

Summary

A man, 32 years of age, suffering from the consequences of injury by a bombexplosion, had a total adherent leucoma of the cornea on the right eye and a complicated cataract on the left. On the right eye the projection of light was normal, while there was complete blindness on the left.

The cataract of the left eye was removed and the lens of a dead person transplanted. The cornea was incised in two thirds of its circumference and five stitches drawn through the opened conjunctiva. Operatively the transplantation of the lens was completely succesful i.e. without irritation to the operated eye and the intraocular pressure was always normal. Three months after the operation the transplanted lens was quite transparant and showed no bio-microscopic opacity. Partial perforative keratoplasty was performed on the right eye of the same patient.

Subsequent examination of the patient, six months after operation, showed the transplanted lens to be still perfectly clear.
