Stability of arginase in reverse micelles

Summary

The influence of glycerol and sodium chloride on the stability of arginase entrapped in reverse micellar system of non-ionic surfactant Triton X - 100/n-hexanol/n-hexane, was studied. Entrapped enzyme shows better stability, further enhanced by the addition of these additives. However, the stability with these additives was found to be much better in reverse micelles.
