Rapid detection of changes in the optic disc: stereochronoscopy

IV. Documentation of centering by marks on the film, and further modes of display

Abstract

The optical principle described earlier, of centering a fundus camera on the cornea by a removable lens, has been extended to produce permanent marks on the film by two more eccentrically mounted lenses. A versatile stereoscopic comparison system makes use of A5 cards on which the fundus pictures are glued in alignment. Experience with a flicker comparator designed for film comparison after Bengtsson and Krakau is reported.
