Euphytica Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The morphology and meitotic behaviour of the amphiploid Hordeum chilense × Triticum turgidum conv. durum are presented.

The fertility, agronomic performance, chromosome stability and grain quality of the new amphiploid give it special value for plant breeding.
