Summary

The study revealed that under low light intensity tiller number, tiller weight, dry matter production and grain yield were significantly reduced. The data suggest that the function of the ‘source’ to be limiting under low light intensities. There appears to be a varietal variation for vegetative matter and grain yield. re]19740924
