Abstract
From the table behind the one where Marissa is working with Naeem, I can easily listen to their conversation without interrupting it. Marissa, a student teacher finishing her second semester in this 10th grade English class, is working with Naeem on a writing assignment that he has started but has apparently decided not to finish.
