Structure and Function of the Reaction Center from Rhodopseudomonas Sphaeroides

Advances in Photosynthesis Research

Part of the book series: Advances in Agricultural Biotechnology ((AABI,volume 2))

Abstract

A great deal of progress has been made in the elucidation of the structure and function of RCs during the past decade. This topic has been reviewed at several conferences on photosynthesis during the last few years. Looking over these reviews, one discerns a steady buildup of new information and understanding at each successive conference. We hope that you will agree with us at the end of the talk that this trend is still proceeding at a healthy rate.
