Abstract
Japan is one of the advanced countries. Almost 95% of medical care in Japan is covered by the National Health Insurance and practised with high technology throughout the country. It is estimated that 200,000 ultrasonic echograms, 70,000 dialyzers, 20,000 X-Ray CT scanner, 2,000 MRI imaging systems, etc. are in use in Japan, a country with a population of 120 million.
